Fleet Driver Training - What is it About?
SAFEDRIVE UK IS NOT A DRIVING
SCHOOL!
When
you attend one of our Fleet Driver Training courses, we will not treat you like
a Learner Driver. Our team of dedicated and professional Trainers will assess
your Driving style then encourage you to analyse your own performance so that we
find the best way of improving your Driving.
SafeDrive UK believe that once we have helped you to analyse your own Driving
performance and discussed the basic core competencies of: Fault identification,
Fault analysis and Remedial action then we are one step nearer to understanding
the consequences of our actions and this will allow us to build a plan together
for the ‘on-road session’ with the aim of improving these areas for the future.
Driving is not just about having good control over the vehicle. It is also
about forward planning and anticipation skills allowing us to be prepared to
deal with any hazards we may encounter. The attitude and concentration levels
of the Driver can certainly affect the overall safety of any journey. We can
help to develop these areas.
During our ‘on- road sessions’, we Coach as opposed to Instruct (may sometimes
be necessary) so as to develop our clients already present skills and put their
Driving experience to good use. It is equally important to encourage and
develop someones good Driving habits, as it is to improve their bad ones.
The
big advantage of using the SafeDrive UK system of Fleet Driver Training is that
we aim for our clients to continue analysing their own Driving on a daily basis
so that the risk of any problems developing is reduced. |
